First order of detailing supplies

Ok, so I'm not a professional, I'm not even an intermediate detailer, I'm a hobbiest who has decided to pick-up this and give it a shot! I bought an '06 Dodge Ram SLT 4x4 last year in April. Ever since I've never fully been happy with the shine. When I do go through the paces it really looks good however this is a BIG truck. Just tonight it took 2.5 hours to do a quick interior vacumme, wash, rinse, spotless rinse, blow dry (shop vac), dress the tires, clean the wheels, apply rain-x, and clean the windows. Now granted the last hour was in the late evening when lighting was the greatest, but still. When I go through the paces (wash, dry, claybar, rewash, hand polish, hand wax, all trimmings done) it's easily a 10-12 hour task and my arm feels like jello and I'm STILL left with ugly swirl marks. So here I am looking for ideas and suggestions. I have a lot of product stored in my shopping cart on Autogeeks website and am just waiting for my yearly bonus to arrive in 2 weeks to pull the trigger (unless I see an unbelievable sale for Father's Day). So here's a picture of my shopping cart:

That's right at about the amount I want to try to stay within, however I would love to hear what may be added for another order maybe in July if I left something super important out. I have an order through another website for plenty of MF towels so I'm covered there. I have pictures of what equipment I currently have here: Detailing pictures by jayhkr - Photobucket There's also a 2.5 gallon wet/dry shop vac that isn't shown but I use that small one for its portabilty. Works great for blowing the water out of creavises.

Just picked up the 5 drawr bin and the "detailers" bag (with mini bag) today at Lowes! Going to label the drawrs with what MF towels are going to go in each. Not sure how to do that yet. I'm ordering 12 of these:

These will be my paint only towels for use when I (eventually) start using the Porter Cable. Probably should do 24, but I'm just not sure. I don't want to do to much, to quick and be out a lot of money (more than I already am).

And then 2 of these:

Obviously for drying and a final wipe down as needed.

So with this order I'm really hoping my 10-12 hour task can be reduced some, gunning for 6-8 hours for the whole deal. A question I was thinking of, is if I wanted to break this task into a 2 day thing, (wash, claybar, tire/wheels, windows one day and swirl removal the next) what would I need to do on day 2? My truck stays outside 100% of the time so I understand there will be a little dust on the next day, but I was thinking of dusting it off (California duster) then a quick detailer spray. Any suggestions on this? :wow: I know this was a long post, just kind of a lot to share I guess. :LOLOL Thanks for reading and I look forward in hearing from everyone!
