First full detail DONE!

Well after much frustration with finding out about orange peel, GGROP on again off again working, pads ripping my first 100% detail is now in the bag! I'm entering a few pictures on the Ram Truck Forum for a shot of being in a calender they are putting together for next year. So without further ado, here are the pictures!

I know, I went picture crazy but this was my first actual detail so I'm kind of proud of myself. I'm finding myself keeping a bottle of QD and a MF in the backseat now. When the wife and I went out tonight, I had to constantly wipe down everything from all the dust that was getting on it! I'm going to put one more coat of natty's blue wax on it in a few days before we get our weeks worth of rain next week. My confidence level has really risen so I can't wait to do it again. Friends/Family here I come!
 
nice work man. I'm voting for the first 2 photos. The one in the middle or near the forest of tree's and the "ding" photo. They both look great and the first photo for sure looks more of a mag/calender type of photo.

Generally it's not advised to wipe down the car after it's been out on the road, even with QD. It gets quite a bet of road grime and junk on it that is kind of hard to see, and chances are that, even with QD, you'll still marr the paint. But otherwise, great job! Looks great! Awesome truck too, I have the exact same color http://www.autopia.org/forum/click-brag/100932-my-ride.html. As for the magazine shot, I really like 1 and 3. with a little PP, 3 could be pretty sick.
 
Ahh, well one of the "rules" was the picture had to be natural, so processing is out of the question. But I'm looking forward to see what happens. Voting begins in October and winners will be announced in November! We'll see.

Oh. Well that's no fun lol. I was just talking about tweaking contrast/saturation a little bit, maybe even brightening it up just a hair. Is that still illegal?
