Product used was meguiars #82 swirl free polish ,and collinite #845

I'm thinking of switching to POORBOYS SSR 1&2.5 , Clearkote Red machine glaze, and pinnacle souveran wax.

Would that improve alot ????

Sorry for the bad pics I still have a hard time taking picture of the swirls

Let me know what you think...What I can do better!! any comment is welcome

Btw I still have swirls and scratch thats why I was thinking of switching to SSR line (also more agressive with the 2.5) I just couldnt take a picture of them

And is this considered a WET or a DEEP look ?

:welcome

:up Good job.

Different cars require different polishes. Some cars have a softer clear and others have very hard clear. You will find that some polishes work well with certain cars.

I would call that deep and wet. Keep up the good work.

Great job! You're friends should thank you a lot if you detail their cars.

I prefer Optimum polish over Poorboy's since Optimum has virtually no dusting. I've used PB's SSR line-up and while they are good, they just dust too much for my liking. I've used Optimum polish a few times and have never had any dusting issues.

I heard #83 is hard to work with tho...specially for a newbie like me.....how easy to work with are poorboys products?

The Poorboys SSR polishes are very good, but like others have said they do dust. IMO, SSR 2.5 is gem of this group. It cuts well and finishes down very nicely.

As others have said, Optimum polishes are great a great alternative. They can be worked forever and finish down beautifully.

I think if you picked up Menzerna and Optimum you could handel any thing that comes your way. You cant go wrong with the Lake Country line of pads.

For LSP some like Carnuba some like a sealant. It all up to you.

If you prep the paint right it will look great with almost any thing on it.

Its actually #82 Swirl Remover that you used. I like mentioned before the Toyota paint is very soft and it always good to use the least possible polish with a cutting or polishing pad before using something more aggressive, better to pass it 2-3 times more with a less aggressive polish and have more control than to use an aggressive polish and risk clearcoat failure.

Souveran won't make that much of difference if your paint is well polished compared to 845IW in looks compare to value vs price factor and you get the durability with the 845IW that you won't get with the Souveran.

Looks great compared to how it was before, passing it with the #82 several more times would make it immaculate, seal it with NXT, Opti-Seal or OCW and top it with 845IW and you have a excellent combination.

Thanks for all the input!!!

I could easily get my hand on opt!!! It seems like ppl are giving it great review!!!

I was using LC PAD...A black, orange and white.

Anyone tried RMG(clearkote red machine glaze ??)

I'm gonna detail my friends car for a lil friendly price....which is what my products gonna cost...but no labor work. :P

I'm from canada,Quebec

HEY ED damn i dunno why i keep writing #80 :S

Yes it looks really better!!! i'm going to see the celica guy tomorrow he's gonna show me how to properly use the PC.

I'll try again with the #82

What do u think of RMG ???

thats after #82 and before the sealant right?

Yes, a glaze is usally applied with a finishing pad prior to the LSP, but I do not like to use a glaze for the simple reason if your paint is perfect, there is no need to use a glaze since there is nothing to hide, why decrease optical clarity and bonding of the LSP with a glaze ?
