I got a new job today working at a local ford dealership. Starting wednesday I'll be working there part time afterschool everyday of the week. I'm very excited about this because so far the only experience I have is out of my driveway.

Thanks everyone, like I said i feel lucky to have this chance because I have no experience, and they are will to teach me the things I need to know.

Don't let the dealerships sloppy techniques ruin you. Most detailers that work at dealerships could stand to learn a few things about proper detailing. Show them your stuff and don't cut corners and you are going to really be appreciated there. :bigups Congrats on the opportunity!

Congrats on the new job. Stick to your guns. Only cut the corners that your boss specifically instructs you to do. He may tell you to do that sometimes due to the fact that time is money and he has a bottom line. Take pride in your work so when you go home you'll have a nice since of accomplishement. Hope this helps and good luck!!!!!!

Thanks again, my boss made it seem like he was really maticulous about everything that goes through, I just dont know if it matches how maticulous I am about my own work! Thanks for the advice, keep it comin.

Congrat to you, one thing that you will learn is the right way and the wrong way to do things. That in the long run will make you a better detailer!!
