first detail job this weekend

Well my buddy and I are detailing cars on the weekends this summer. We already have 2 customers lined up. The first being my boss.



I saw his black 99 bonneville for the first time today, and :eek:

it looks like he washed it with a pumice stone. The ENTIRE car from top to bottom and front to back has swirl marks in it. This car is black too mind you. I am going to take before and after pics and post them here when its done. We are starting on interior friday night, and doing the exterior saturday. It will give me a chance to finally use my PC also.



hopefully he likes it so I can keep my job. LOL JK

Man oh man was that a pain in tha arse. We ended up using meguiars scratch X to get almost EVERY single scratch and swirl mark out. The car looks brand new basically. There were still some scratches we couldnt get out, but hey, no ones perfect right. Anyway, The whole interior and exterior got done, and he will definitely be surprised. My buddys mom came over while we were doing the car, she saw the beginning and the end, she said the car basically looked like it was brand new now. I am happy. Hopefully this will drum up some more business.:up



I forgot to take some before pics, but will have after pics monday.

I'm off to Chicago to do a detail in about an hour.



Bwana and I did a pale yellow WRX yesterday and we both forgot to bring camera's but the owner is suspossed to take pics today for us.



I also did the top half of my MRS with my PC finally. Paint looks alot better but it still needs more work.



I'll post all pics after today's detail.
