I wanted to brag a little and show off my first REAL detail job ever. I have been washing cars since I was a little kid with my Dad. Only in the past few weeks searching this forum and few others like it, have I been able to figure out how to correctly detail a car.

Here is what I did:

Wash

Claying

Wash

Klasse AIO

Topped off with P21S Carnauba

Here are the pics. Let me know what you think!

Looks great!

I bet it's dirty already! haha. I keep telling myself my next vehicle won't be black..but everytime I wash and/or wax..it's worth it!

It's funny that you say that.

It is our third car, my wife's baby. It has sat in the garage for the past two years and has only been used twice. I spent nearly the whole weekend on my new car. I shutter at how long it would take me to do her given it's condition. It also has a leather interior that needs work bad!

To answer your question, yes, I plan on tackling the Celica. I plan on purchasing a PC soon, and I think her car would be the PERFECT tester for product and technique. I will most likely get to it this summer.

If I get that one done and done right, believe you a me, I will have some tremendous before and after pictures because the before pictures are going to be atrocious!

Very nice! Really wet looking shine. :) Too bad no sun to capture the blue flake though.

BTW, you should slap David McDavid for putting their horribly ugly dealer emblem on your new car. A heat gun and dental floss will have it right off though... ;)

I was going to ask about how to remove those things. You are right, I HATE them!

What is a heat gun, and where does the dental floss come into play?

I have seen others say take a hair dryer to it to melt the wax underneath and then remove, but that just doesn't sound right, or good for the car for that matter.
