First detail: 2000 celica

I just did my first detail on my 2000 celica two days ago. I used:



Armor all car wash

Meguire's clay bar

Sonus SFX1 with orange das pad on PC

Sonus SFX2 with green das pad on PC

Sonus SFX3 with blue das pad on PC

Meguire's carnauba (OTC cheap wax)



I still need to get some better wax, but here are the results:

I've only done the paint so far, so when I do the rest of the car I will post pictures of it. I'm pretty happy about the way this turned out, I can't wait to do my next car!!
 
Very nice. You wouldn't happen to have a same exact After picture of the spot you pictured in the Before shot would you?





It also seems that the product isn't always the distinguishing factor of a good job. Seems that any product in the right hands will yield great results.
 
I'll try to get the exact same picture this weekend. I tried to get a close match but it's a little off on the second one, but it's the same panel on the car in picture 1 and 2.

You'll hear it a 1000 times its all in the prep. I've used tons of products and all were good but some stood out for ease of use or results. Well from those shots if all of the car looked like that before you did pretty good job:xyxthumbs
