first corvette

I am going to polish my first corvette. A 1978 yellow that does not looked to be waxed but maybe once in its life. I need to bring it back to life. My question is: do I use the same steps. I use with a steel car. Wash, clay, corse polish (menzurna fg 400) then fine polish (menzerna sg4000.) I use a random orbital with yellow and.white pads.

Paint is paint regardless of what substrate it's covering. Some (like plastic) tend to heat up quicker, but with fiberglass you'll be fine just doing your normal process. Keep in mind that it's probably not clearcoated so keep those pads constantly clean for top correction and finish.
