Wash:

Meguiar's GC

Dried with OD super plush MF

Clay:

Clay magic Blue

Wax:

Optimum Spray wax

Tried dressed with Meguiar's hyper shine water based dressing, diluted 50/50

I was actually really impressed with the Op Spray wax, easy to apply and wipe away, great smell and a pretty good look. Now lets see if it actually has the durability.

only made 70 dollars off this one, im still trying to get my name out there

while i was there the owner's grandfather asked me to do his ls6 vette. wash, wax, interior detail for $150 - thats next

car has:

Heads, cams, custom sheet metal intake, 5.1 liter stroker, 8.6.1 compression

in the shop (in pictures) theres a 15lb bottle and a bottle of 109 waiting, we're going to get that on the car after some more data loggging.

Pics. sorry, they're not very good - bad lighting

ill have an idle and start up vid tonight

Oh, i polished out a white scratch on the rear bumper via PC...white pad and PB PWS, but none of that is pictured, i was too lazy to get the camera

Afters:

the wheels had a ton of embedded brake dust on the lip, it was really in there, all i had with me was some clay, soon ill have a chance to polish them out...they still look "dusty" but thats because they were painted with a rattle can and not protected

A couple of the after pictures show the spot where the scratch used to be on the rear bumper, can you find where it was? :cooleek:

Bullit mustangs are just nasty. Nice job on the finish and especially on your first C and B. The only thing that stuck out was the wells. Meguiars Hyper Dressing is good stuff too, super versatile. You can use your same dilution in the wells to blacken em up. Dont forget to clean them well though(I know you did).

Good stuff

thanks for the feedback guys

getcha, it was really hard to get to the wheel wells because the car is lowered pretty good, im probably going to go pick up a few wheel well @ tire brushes tomorrow from walmart or something like that.

thanks for the tip with the hyper dressing

i wanted to polish the wheels and the exhaust tips, but i forgot my polish at home :(

the owner was still happy with the results, esp. for 70 dollars

bump bump - pictures were taken with my new camera

what do you guys think about the detail? i just went out and bought a wheel well brush today, a skinny one - cant let that happen again

No doubt 8banger, when you dress the wells, if you can get even your hand in there you can just use cheap terry towels or shop towels to get them dressed. No sense in dirtying up a good applicator or a good MF.

That car makes me a bit jealous, again nice job.... :)
