Yesterday I help my friend detail his black truck. he keeps it in very good shape so i when over it using ssr1 after a wash and clay and it got all the little swirls out but under 1000 watts lights i still see the bigger scratches that ssr1 woundn't get out no matter how long i buff it. oh yea im using LC pads with PC. My question is will ssr2.5 using Orange LC pad take those bigger scratches out? i never use ssr2.5 before becuase most of the cars i do is pretty new like this one which is an 2005 toyota truck. please help

thanks

Yes using a heavier polishing compound like SSR 2 1/2 with an orange pad should get out those deeper scratches out but you will probablly want to use a finishing polish after that.

You should have very clean paint after SSR 2 1/2 so you should be able to go over the car with any final polish and a finishing pad.I have not worked with pro polish but most of polishing is finding the products and pads that work best for you and get the results you are looking for.Give both a try and see what looks best as the color of the car makes a difference as to the products you choose also.

most sealants require 24 hours and you can put on as many as you like but you can only top a sealant with carnauba and again you can top with as many as you like. You can not top a carnauba with a sealant however. I am not sure about EXP although I use it all the time but most sealants are 24 hours.
