I was doing some detailing yesterday, and wanted to go at my hood with some FCRC for some stubborn clear coats marks... Anyways, I figured why not clay first, since I NEVER have before.
I had picked up some clay magic from autozone a week ago, so I was ready to go. Car was freshly washed. I followed the steps using the lube liberally, and claying about a 2x2 area or so. i felt NO resistance whatsoever, anywhere on the hood.... and saw pretty much nothing in the clay when i was done.... :nixweiss
Did I do something wrong, or did my hood simply not need claying possibly? I mean, the hood has been SMRed, and I have used some cleaner waxes at times.... and the car is garaged at night.
Thoughts?
