how could you possibly get away with a turbocharged car in a state with ridiculous emissions laws? Not to mention they would give you about 100 tickets for modifications if you got pulled over lol

looks clean otherwise

What turbo you running on what PSI?

I got a 95 civic with a d16 turboed with a t3/to4e .60trim stage III wheel. I'm at 272whp on 10psi with Hondata S300. I am going in this weekend to kick it up to 15psi.

I actually moved to Houston for college in 05, I just use the plates for picture taking sometimes as they look much cooler than my regular old Texas plates. I had most of its current mods done before I left and didn't do to bad. I lived in LA so maybe its just that theres much more for police to focus their attention on. (God I'm happy I don't live there anymore)

Its a f2 turbo with JE 8.5:1 pistons, Carrillo Rods, Ranger Crank and a few other supporting mods at 16 psi and makes around 325hp. Needed allot to get there though. The stock internals were horrible and didn't make it past 8psi, the current setup has 30k miles on it, 1/4 on the road course, and is still going strong! Pretty useless 1-2 gear without slicks though.

Heres a few more I found from about a year ago.

Thanks! Can't take all the credit though as the company who made it (originally designed to showcase their performance parts before they took a budget cut) did a hell of a job getting all the Focus RS parts from england (even the interior). Sadly Ford refuses to give the US any of their cool compacts. I would swim over if I could get a deal on a escort cosworth.

wow awesome car love the look.

that is alot of mods u have to the motor should go pretty good

I also notice the FMICs are diff in the 2 pics, upgrade or a diff one for the new turbo?

Thanks. The second set of pics are about a year old, and the IC was actually a bit too big and caused some lag issues so I swapped it with a smaller unit. It was good on the track, but pretty noticeable on the street.

o i c i had that problem on my eclipse i had the greddy large fmic on her with the stock T25 and boy did that make a big diff on off throttle response

once i put the 20g tho things where alot better

You'd be surprised at how many "street" turbo'd cars there are here. There are ways to make thing happen.;) As far as modded cars go here, you can get away with a lot as long as you don't pick the obviously unsafe and blatant mods. My Integra hasn't seen a front plate since it was maybe 2 years old. It'll be 10 next month.

Usually I am not a Ford fan at all. Yes I know I own one it will be the last one. But with all that said that is a BA looking Focus. Very clean and smooth looking. Good job very tasteful.

Thanks! I tried to steer far away from the current compact trends going around and keep it as classy as I could. Form was enhanced as the function allowed.

Actually for many of their vehicles I have to agree. My father has spent over 25k in the past 3 years on his f-350. Its mainly for hauling light loads, but does tow their airstream probably once every two weeks. I'm pretty sure hes funding the college fund of many repair shop owners. But to be fair, our old 98 f-150 has been nothing but amazing. Absolutely no mechanical problems on anything not meant to be replaced, and the pic speaks for itself. Still gets driven quite often and runs great. However, I think the detail job would need to be done my God himself.

I concur. The detail is great and the modifications are purposeful and tasteful.

My last 3 Fords were 5 speed V6 Taurus SHOs. Best part about them were the bulletproof Yamaha engines. And that's probably because Ford had nothing to do with it.

I agree that Ford of Europe has some excellent hardware. Ford's Way Forward should just be to bring over a good portion of their overseas offerings.
