Finishing with an Orange Pad?

Is it possible to do a final polish with an orange pad using Optimum polish. I want to remove minor swirls from a black 06 explorer. Will an orange pad with Optimum polish give an LSP finish or does it need to be done again with a white pad and the Optimum polish.

What do you think of the OP with the orange pad combination on Lexus dark colors? Before LSP, should I finish up with something like a white or blue pad? Should i use something finer like PO106FF?

Looks really nice and deep. Do you think it would look better if you finished it down 1 more step?

I did that car last fall finishing with a white pad and 82 or 9 iirc, might have been 80.

it looked pretty much the same... I of course couldn't compare the then and now paint after polishing but it seemed the same to me :nixweiss

What machine did you use?? I marred the crap out of Honda paint before with orange pad and OC using both rotary and PC... not that I don't believe you, just wondering

used the PC...

I read it's like Menzerna IP.....but IP with what pad?
