Finish Kare - Leda following up - call back

My order will be here tomorrow. I wonder if they'll be letting us order directly or if this is kind of a one time shot.



No point in shopping @ FK1 when the prices are higher and the customer service is, well not that great to say the least.

Man, that distributor is so screwed up. :down :down :down Finish Kare should seek alternate outlets for their fine products. :bigups
 
People better jump on this before the "autopia effect" takes place. 425 and 1000p aren't the only good products they make. Their interior protectants are good as well. Nows a good time to try something as it seems they're giving it to us at wholesale prices.



I have a feeling that if they just don't stop completely tending to our individual orders than the prices will be raised unless your ordering mass quantities.



They definitely need to look for a new distributor.
 
Well since I just talked with Leda about thirty minutes before, she said they have been trying for quite some time (phone, e-mail, and postal mail) to get a hold of FK1usa with no reply. Her current concern thou was the bombardment of calls to this lady via the phone number I listed above.



Also in my conversation with Leda, she said if we need anything to contact her anytime and we didn't need to worry about FK1usa. I got the feeling that this isn't a one time deal, she seem to genuinely state that if we needed anything in the future to just give her a call.

I received and e-mail confirmation from Fedex today indicating the shipment was on the way.



Leda et al understand that their current distributor has failed them, I expect we'll see a new distributor soon.

I was told I could order from them in the future if I wanted to.



If Finish Kare keeps the same distributor, you can bet I won't order anything from the website. Unless major changes happen. I don't expect to be waited on hand and foot, but I do expect a return e-mail or return phone call. If it were a one time thing, I could overlook it. However, in my case it was repeatedly.
 
I emailed her yesterday and she hasn't responded yet. I didn't want to call since the other thread suggested that we email her since she was overwhelmed with requests. I may have to call her so I can get some products.

Ths site is still up but who knows for how long? I was a member of the forum when it was around but certainly didn't last very long. Sounds as though I need to contact the correct party and get a gallon of #425 headed my way before things get any worse.



Much thanks to those that have "turned on the light" for the rest of us as to what is going on.

have you been getting any phone calls from 696.452.2144? If so she has is trying to call you. Often she doesn't have time to leave a message (or she hadn't for me).



The basic procedure is the following:

1) You send her an e-mail with your contact info, and what you want

2) She will call you and ask for your payment info

3) She will send you an invoice (pdf)

4) You replay to the e-mail approving the invoice

5) She will charge you and have your order shipped the next day

6) Fedex will e-mail you when they pick it up the next day



If you haven't heard from her yet, give her a call. She is really nice and helpful. I think she's just been getting a ton of calls (she received 3 during my last 2 minute call with her which she quickly answered and kindly put on hold while still talking with me. nice and efficient).

Give her a few days mate. It took a couple for her to respond back to me.

i emailed her on the 10th and only got a reply 2 hrs ago. she's probably busy so don't worry. you'll definitely get one

Thanks for the heads up. I'm still scheduled for the 18th but I'm in the Midwest so it may take an extra day or two. But at these prices I don't mind waiting a few days :xyxthumbs.

It's pretty clear to me from that, that FK1 is out of business. I expect their website will disappear as well once their hosting bill goes unpaid.

That would be great...if it doesn't include repackaging, etc. as was alluded to in the other thread, not sure Patrick wants to go that far. OTOH...perhaps becoming the exclusive FK distributor would give him a reason to give up his day job!
