Finish Kare Extra Slick Final Body Shine #425: Quick Review

...I only asked what would make it so different than a spray wax because on several occasions I've thought about buying FK425, but was detered by comments from Optimum Car Wax users saying that if you're going to wipe it down, 'then why not wipe it down often with something that will last.'

Why, well because we all have a little wax waster inside us :)

I want to try this product now. Thanks for the review.

I've used this for almost ten years, well before AG and affiliates acquired it. I've yet to find anything better, although I have tried. It is simply exceptional. I'll not look for anything better in the future. This is as good as it gets. If you have not used it you are missing out on the top shelf product that is so easy to use that it is almost laughable. The results are well beyond expectations and might even "wow" you the following day.

Okay...but Surf City Spray Wax (it too isn't just a wipe) could then be considered an even more 'odd ball' since it's thicker than any other thing I've used as a spray wax.....

Hope that didn't sound harsh...wasn't meant to be.

No, not harsh at all considering my "odd ball" adjective was so vauge. I actually don't know what form of "protection" FK425 leaves behind. A while back I remember someone stating that FK425 leaves a sacrificial layer and thus extends your LSP, at least for as long as the FK stays on. That would also be the case with QD's with wax. But not "plain" quick flashing QD's. Is it as good as Optimum Spray Wax? We need a test! FK425 vs. premium Spray Waxes. I'd do it if someone could sample me some Optimum!

Would it be good on FK1000 sealed wheels !
I don't see why not. Actually a good idea. Glad I, um you, thought of it! :rockon

Does FK425 add to or detract from the look of Carnauba waxes?

I'm thinking of trying FK425 and one of the higher end Carnauba waxes (BlackICE, Pinnacle Souveran, SON1C Wax Phoenix), but I don't want to ruin the Carnauba look by topping it with FK425 if that's the end result.

Adds 100%...

How do you find its anti static claim given you have a natural LSP that tend to attract more dust and with your black color, all the more noticeable. Felt any different with 425 helping attract less dust?

Now that I've been keeping an eye on it - I'd say yes. It doesn't seem to attract dust - that is for sure.

I was all set to include FK 425 in my 4th of July order when I stumbled across this thread:

http://www.autopiaforums.com/forums...7025-ready-give-up-fk425-very-frustrated.html

I was really looking forward to trying this.

Is this review an exception?

If you read through the whole thread you will see that they fixed the issues and the OP admitted that it was a combination of heat/humidity and using to much product.

Once you learn how to properly use the product you will be impressed like everyone else that raves about it ..
