. I don`t think you can forgo the clay barring though. Neither the ABC decon or iron fallout removers are really meant to replace clay barring. You`ll get better results doing both.
You could just IronX the car. Do it twice if you don`t think it dissolved all the sintered iron
I did a google search for Valugard ABC and the store selling the kit popped up. They`re just having technical problems processing orders right now.
For some reason ABC isn`t as widely known/used as it should be. I find it to be an excellent product that really does save on claying. It`s the first step to attaining that pop we are all looking for in our paint. It ought to be a staple in any serious detailer`s arsenal.
I have a dedicated mitt for ["B"]...
Bert- Glad it worked so well for you.
Huh, their Bug Pad marred things up, huh? I only tried it on one car (previous Crown Vic) and although it needed (major *major* *MAJOR*) correction, I didn`t notice the pad causing any new issues. I bet you could use anybody`s, uhm....aggressive but not too much...sponge with it; the Griot`s ErgoWave comes to mind, and Mike lambert claims it won`t mar (I`m afraid to try it).
I bet ABC isn`t popular because:
-Doesn`t come in little quantities
-Isn`t commonly available through the Normal Vendors
-Doesn`t have [certain individuals] using/recommending/selling it
-Doesn`t have a catchy name or fancy packaging
-Doesn`t do the color-change indication
I`d like to see an objective, quantitatively evaluated comparison between ABC and some of the somewhat similar products that people use/post about all the time. Wonder if *those* products have been tested/approved by all the Major Auto Makers the way ABC has..
Not that I think "C" is anything special![]()
Since it`s so user friendly you`d think Autogeek would pick it up and sell it.
I bet there are all sorts of, uhm....factors....involved in who-sells-what-to-whom, and why.
