Finding gloss after respray

My car was resprayed a few months ago, I left it alone for about 45 days before polishing. The respray was not of great quality but there is nothing I can do about it.

The gloss level is ok but thats about it. I have used DACP, #9, VM and EX-P but I cannot get a decent gloss. After using these products the shine has improved a lot but I would classify the shine as average and considering I have put a lot of hours into polishing I just dont seem to be getting any results.

Maybe it is the severe orange peel which interferes with reflections, I am almost tempted to wet sand or buy a rotary buffer ( I wont because I do not have the money).

Any suggestions

Well I might not be much help with this Steven, but I'm glad you got your car repainted after what happened to it a while back....

I would really look closely at the paint and try to see if it really is the orange peel like you said. I also think that it can really interfere with a good shine if it's bad enough.
