Finally tried Z-8 Grand Finale Spray Seal today..

OS rocks.

I love Z8.

From my initial thoughts today, PS Spray Wax is very good, if it lasts 4 weeks here in London its winner in my book!

Hi,

What impresses me the most about Z-8 is the protection it offers. Our dad owns a 2001 Isuzu Trooper. Since he brought it new, I have used the Klasse Twins to protect the paint. The Trooper isn't pampered like my car. I try to apply Klasse roughly every six months or so and wash it every few weeks. It's a good way to test the durability of different products because I don't have the time to care of the Trooper the way I would like.

Last year was a really busy time for us. At the end of August, for the first time, I washed the Trooper with Z-7, followed by Z-8. Due to lack of time, that was it. The last Klasse application was months earlier, so I don't think there was much protection left, just the Z-7 and Z-8.

Again, we were busy, so the Trooper was untouched for weeks. Finally, in mid-November, I washed it, roughly a month and a half later!

The reason I am impressed with Z-8 protection is because, after all that time, the dried bug remains on the front of the Trooper (headlights, grill, bumper, etc.) came off with a couple swipes of my wash mitt. I have NEVER had bug remains come off that easily before.

The more I use Zaino products, the more I am impressed with their performance, protection, and quality.

I find that Z8 has a curing time. The surface to me always looks better the next day. I also found that It works a bit different on different paints. My black GN that is custom painted hates Z8. I was very dissapointed when I first purchased it for the GN. It just streaks beyond belief. I now use it only on my H2 and it works great, never a streak.:nixweiss

The product itself does not cause dust to land on your car. The static you create causes the attraction of dust. There aren't any properties in Z8 that enhance static build up. Lots of it has to do with the dryness in the air where you are, temp and what you're using to wipe the car down with. I use Z8 a couple times a week and have no issues with dust. Just make sure when you're wiping the car down, you're not wiping it more than you need to. Over wiping will cause more static build up.

so what is the verdict. if you already have AW, is it worth buying Z8?

Does Z8 bond with Jeff's Werkstatt line?

also +1 for the Vroom grey MFs

Sal does recommend 1 MF in which he has quality tested - DF Towels.

Unlike members here that realize there is a wide-range of MF quality, a non-detailing forum purchaser of MF's may not be so informed.

Note Zaino only recommends 100% USA cotton. Not just "cotton" towels. Cotton towels too vary greatly in quality.

DF Towels are a microfiber (Alpina, if I recall correctly) made of 100% cotton and, in my experience, the best towel for removing any wax or sealant.

IMO Z8 has no equal. AW is a nice otc product but its not Z8. For me its not about

the money its about the performance of the product. I have used Z8 & ZCS over JW, CG and many other with not problem. Of course when used with Z5pro& Z2pro its truly awesome.

I also love the Vroom grey I buy a pack every other week.
