Finally made it back to the track. Almost in the 9s!!

You said earlier that the car will do 9.90 with cooler air. Your 10.0X could be attributed to warmer air, how are you managing the heat the car produces? Is your intake sealed off to the engine bay? Are you running heat shielding and thermal insulation around your manifold? What is the change in coolant and air intake temperature from the tree to the end of the run? Are you running MAP or MAF? Since you are running so much Nitrous I assume you are cat-less? Are the headers wrapped to mitigate engine bay heat soak? Etc...

Car is SD tuned. Yes intake is sealed to the factory ram air ss hood. And no exhaust wrap. Well being a nitrous car the IATs drop during the run just like my boosted gto with methanol the iats drop during a run. Being a plastic intake it doesn`t heat soak like aluminum or iron manifolds

IAT’s do go down, but warmer temps equal less manifold air densit. But it sounds like with the intake track being so short, there just isn’t much that may be able to be done to artificially increase air density. What about water temps, how much do they increase, from tree to trap?

Car runs 180deg
