I was working for BMW from Nov 00 until Dec 08. I have worked in 4 states 4 dealers. I was laid off Dec 08, I have been looking all over Charlotte for similar work and no luck. Even tried life insurance and other jobs here. Moved my fiance and 2 kids in the house with my mother, stepdad, younger brother and sister. The house is not made for all these people lol. We have been here since Feb, hoping I would get work. Detailing cars was doing nothing as well.
After lots of talking with my fiance we came to the conclusion we both need to start going back to church as a family, pray and read our bible. Well the next day my mother tells my my stepdad has a great opportunity in FL, they will be moving in one month (June 19). Well I started sending resumes out all over, DE, VA, NC, SC, GA, LA, AL, TX and had a few calls but once they relized I was still in Charlotte, I didn't hear back. Well we prayed harder and was believing somehting would happen. On friday I sent out my resume to 33 places from Craiglist. 15 minutes later I heard back from a Nissan dealer in Greensboro. Set up an interview for Monday at 11 am, it is 2 hours from my house. Sunday night my 3 yr old keeps saying go to work daddy, go to work ah kids lol. I drove up there everything went great. Tues I was suppose to detail but on Monday night the lady called to cancel said the chance of rain is to great and she would rather wait. So 11:15 I am makcing Mac N Cheese for my son, my phone rings. It was the manager in Greensboro asking if I could be there by 2 to meet the Fixed Op's manager. I got ready drove up, met with both and when I left the first manager told me to be cautiously optomistic and he will call ina few days. This afternoon he called I have to go to their store in Charlotte and take my drug test. Finally after 6 months I will have a job writing service something I have been wanting to do. Now just need the funds to move lol.
