Finally figured out how to polish my black car

looks really good man

How does the stool from Harbor Freight work out for you? I bought the same one but have not put it together yet.

Thanks!!! My stool is a craftsman and I love it. It is height adjustable and is pretty darn comfortable.

Great job on your Caddy. Black is tough to tackle the first time.

As far as the Gloss-It products go, give them a chance. You are not over the learning curve yet but you are on your way. Invest in some of Rich's EVP pad prime, it make a world of difference. Use Gloss Enhancer to extend the work time of the Extreme Cut and it helps a bunch. The Cyclo is a great unit and can take out more than you think, you just have to be willing to work them.

Also, many guys I respect quite a bit have compared the M105 to Gloss-It Extreme Cut and like the Gloss-It quite a bit more. It cuts very well, keeps cutting longer, and lasts twice as long with almost no dust. It's all I use with Cyclo orange pads or fast cut white on my rotary. I have never tried 105 myself, but enough people have that say Rich's stuff is better so I'm not going to buy it as I don't want a garage full of products. Keep at it the Extreme Cut for a few more times/cars. The more you use it the better results you get.

I used Menzerna P0203S on 4" LC Green, 2 passes. Then P085RD pm 4" LC Blue 1 pass and MAN it was almost PURRFECT! 90% Correction, was too happy already so 2 passes was good enough. It's astounding, how the Mezerna Product works soo efficiently.

Have to bump the gloss-it on a cyclo. Initially used meguiars, wasn't overly happy. Went to Menzerna, was happy, but left something to be fully desired. Gloss-it does everything it claims to do on the cyclo and I'm 110% satisfied with it.

Usually do extreme cut followed by machine polish.
