I finally got enough hours in the day and almost all the right supplies to detail my Pathfinder this weekend. Here are the steps:
1) Gold Class Car Wash
2) Mother's Clay
3) 3M SMR
4) AIO
5) 2 X SG
6) TW Formula 2001 Tire Gel for Tires
7) TW Extreme 2001 Protectant for Interior and Exterior Trim
Here's my summary:
1) Mother's Clay didn't work the miracles that I thought it would
2) I definately need a PC because my 10 inch craftman buffer (3100 OPM) sucks
3) Getting wax residue off trim is a tough job. I ended up using Canola Oil and it worked pretty good. Someone in another thread had mentioned that it was the vegetable oil in peanut butter that helped break down the residue
4) Getting wax residue off windows is even harder. I'm still working on this one because I just cannot the residue to come off. If any one has suggestions, please let me know. I tried to use Fantastik because it can cut grease but that didn't work. Just left streaks on my windows. Well, anyway, here are the pics.
