You won't be disappointed with the Griots machine. Excellent power and a lifetime warranty.

Lucky I want one bady, like the one with the 25 ft cable. I'm thinkin of selling my pc, pads and some polishes to get one.
Wouldnt selling your pads and polishes be counter productive? or do you have stuff you arent using that you dont mind unloading?
Net was $119. Still wish I could have done better, but that's the best I could find.
So what is the link Mitchell?Sorry to rain on your parade but I just stumbled across 'em for $97.99... 10 bucks additional for the long corded model. Place offers free shipping over $99 so I added a couple of foam applicator pads for 2 bucks and saved 5.
One of Murphy's laws, you always find it cheaper after you buy.

I have a Griot's 3" DA but have yet to use it. Can you swap out backing plate on the Griot's 6" DA for a 5" backing plate?
Not sure I really need this, but the prospect of more "nuts" and less time spent on paint correction, finally overcame my frugalness.
Have had a Porter cable unit for 5-6 yrs, but reviews of the new Griot's machine convinced me to give it a shot.
Since I'm a cheap *astard, I was looking for a sale, but apparently this doesn't happen often. Normal price seems to be $129, but then you have shipping ($16 or so) and if I buy from in-state vendor, I get hit for sales tax (SHOPNBC). Finally bought from AutoAnything with free shipping, no tax and a $10 off coupon; Net was $119. Still wish I could have done better, but that's the best I could find.
Now, just gotta wait for it to arrive. Hope it lives up to expectations.

Hey Jim,
I too have been beating this up. What was the model number/Pn at autoanything?
Thanks!
Ken
so I don't own a GG D/A or a Flex 3401, just a lowly PC. IF (big if at this point) I wanted to upgrade, do I go for the GG, Flex (both D/As) or skip and hit the rotary (Makita 9227)?

I would have liked the Flex, but the price is ridiculous.
