Final verdict whether QEW contains wax?

Am I the only one who doesn't see a change in gloss, etc. with S&W? I mean, it looks cleaner certainly, but I have yet to see a change in gloss or anything

It's more apparent on an unwaxed dark surface.

EDIT: I'm going to throw in the towel on this issue. You can come to your own conclusion at this point. The very reason that I made the statement above re: the truth. There are some that just don't want to hear it. :wavey

Well I'm happy I caught this thread as it so happens I called Protect All yesterday to ask this very question because I wanted to wash my car but just got the front bumper and hood repainted last week.

I inquirered as to the location of the MSDS sheet for QEW and was informed that they are not required to post that information as the product is not considered hazardous or contains hazardous chemicals.

So on to the wax question (specifically silicone's), the guy wanted to know who I was and why am I asking these questions. I told him and was put on hold for a few minutes.

He comes back and says yes that there is "some" wax in QEW. He said they added it to aid in the process of removing the product and water from the panels without scratching and to bring up the shine afterwards.

But it's not enough for QEW to be a wax outright.

Morbid: My same understanding (I have the MSDS too). The wax helps aid in the surface to bead, therefore, less water on the surface...hence, easier drying.

rightty-O.

I didn't want to risk it and didn't feel like cranking up the PW for a full wash last night.

They were very nice to me on the phone. Must be that California groovin thing.

I always thought the floating peanut looking thing was actually wax. And doesn't the bottle say it contains wax?

Not sure about the peanut thing and after reading the label throughly I found no mention of wax (other than to use thier other product).
