5) one last quick questing.... what wheel cleaner do u use? i have 17 yrs of brake dust build up and wanta get rid of it!

THANKS SOO MUCH!

After 17 years I would imagine that the brake dust has corroded your wheels past the point of no return. There may not be a fix for them. The wheel cleaner I would suggest, however, is Eagle One A2Z. You can get it at local auto parts stores.

Have you checked out David's PC article on www.autopia-carcare.com? It is pretty much the difinitive work on how to use a PC and what pads and such to get. I would suggest checking that out. It will answer a lot of questions I'll bet.

Get microfiber towels for buffing product off. Waffle Weave microfiber is for drying. The smaller ones are good for buffing product off. I'm not a master of microfiber, so I really can't tell you where to get them. I know I get mine from premiumautocare.com and I like them a lot. You can get good quality microfiber towels just about anywhere.

size isnt really the concern for what is more agrgressive the type and density of the foam determines that. *I* like the 6.5 pads for the pc, easier to control and to work the product. Different manufacturers use different colors for determining the type of pad it is. If it says cutting pad it is one step under wool pads, polishing is the next aggressive (these I use most), and then finishing pads for waxing ect.

I like the meguiars pads the best so far.

Hope this helps a little.
