after reading enough post and reviews to make my eyes bleed here is what I have come up with as a kit for myself. Keep in ming I an new to the whole PC thing.

poorboys ssr2.5 (ease of use compared to megs DACP)
poorboys ssr1
poorboys Ex or megs NXT x2
megs polishing video

sonus DAS pad kit from autopia-carcare.com

questions:

1. what do you guys think?
2.what microfiber towels should i get?
3. what sonus pad should i begin using the ssr2.5?

I have used the SSR2.5 with the Orange and Green Sonus pad. Use the orange if you have heavy swirling/marring, else I would suggest the green pad. I was surprised at what I could do with the SSR2.5/green polish pad. Just keep in mind to do the least aggressive method first, and if that doesn't work, you can always step it up a bit.

I like Adam's yellow MF towels. You can get 4 or 5 of them in the Detail Spray special for around $45. Trust me when I tell you that Adam's DS is amazing stuff.

UPP is my sealant of choice, and it too is some amazing stuff. I guess if it's between the Poorboy's and the NXT, I'd say get the EX. I'm not sure how well I like NXT anymore (that is, of course, after using UPP :) ).

looks good. i gues ill replace ex and nxt with the upp. i want to try to get stuff in one place though so i can avoid payign so many shipping charges.

I know how you feel about that. You sounded like you were close enough to Poorboy to go pick up some MF from him. I hear his MF selection is very good also, I have never used any though. :( PAC has a fine selection too. Poorboy....Dwayne.....it's a win-win situation. :bigups

yeah i just have to make a decision already. im def gonna order the sonus pads from autopia as i have read very good review about them.

That looks like a winner. I really would like to give AIO a try, but I gotta run out of some other stuff first. The kit will be even less expensive when you use your detailcity discount code. :) DOn't forget that's 10% off.

what do you guys think of this kit from PAC?click here
The kit contains the products I use regularly and I would recommend them, (and have), to any one looking for a good combo to start with.

Get a gallon of Spray & Wipe while you are ordering.:)

will the AIO work as well as DCAP or SSR2.5 or should i add those to the order?
Not for removing swirls. AIO is not really abrasive and any swirl removal it does is pretty minor.
Both DACP and SSR2.5 are much more abrasive and will do a much better job, IMO, of removing swirls.
The only thing I see wrong with this thread is that we have gotten you completely away from your original order. Maybe you might want to stop for a minute and rethink just what you do want/need. So many products will give good results if used right that it is easy to go overboard in what to buy.

There was nothing really wrong with your original list of products. Might be a good place to start.:)
