Filler base for OCW?

Hi guys,

After reading all the great reviews, I am looking to buy some OCW and had some questions before i order them.

I do not have access to machine polishing, and my car has some swirls on it.

I've been using NXT on the car for a while, but lately i've been wanting to try some filler product to help with the swirl and put something on top of it. (got my mind set on OCW with all the great reviews)

So im looking for something i can use every car wash, (about once every 2-3 weeks) has good swirl hiding ability and work well with OCW as a topper. Your recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

^ I agree; pretty much what he said will work great.

If you don't want to do that, find some 3M Imperial Hand Glaze and follow with the OCW.

I think using a cleaner wax like Color X first will make your paint look a lot better than if you just wax it. You can top that with NXT or OCW.

Thx for the replies.

i've been using the NXT for quite a while, so i was kinda hoping to try some new stuff this time. But if i do use the NXT under OCW, can i apply OCW right after a coat of NXT? or do i have to wait for it to cure?

oh. and is 3M imperial hand glaze a OTC product?

Thanks.

The Prima line looks good. Banana Gas wax is made for hiding swirls and so are a few other polishes with fillers.

Meg's #9 has a lot of hiding ability. And over time it will reduce the swirls you are seeing as it does have abrasives in it. And it's easy to find OTC at places like NAPA.

What about the poli seal . I did use my pc and it seemed to hide well or correct well . One of the 2 . It's hard to tell with winter , road salt.

You guys would crap if you saw my 06 4Runner , it is literally white and flakes from the windows down.

The NXT needs to cure before wiping OCW over it. 12 hours should do it, depending on ambient temp, humidity, etc.
