File pic size too big?

I've been reading the posts on uploading pics. I have no trouble with pics from my I Phone or downloaded from the internet. When I try any pictures taken with the 15 megapixel I can't get even one at a time to load? Any advice? Maybe I just don't get it.:hmmm: Thanks.

Some here upload to Snapfish or photobucket then link the pics it still shows up as a pic in the thread and you don't have to worry about resizing

Ive never had luck uploading directly to the site. I do exacally what Beemerboy stated and Ive never had a prob.

I'll bite the bullet and set an account up and try it that way. I was trying to keep it simple ,but whatever it takes.

What are you using as a editing software. I use Picasa (its free online) and it allows you to re-size pics for many reason

How big are the pictures? I'll often shink them to 640x480 or 800x600 to post on a forum. Large pictures are nothing mroe than a waste of bandwidth.
