Ferrari Enzo Crash in Malibu!

"what did you do today?" .... "Oh, had lunch, watched the game, done some shopping, wrecked an Enzo Ferrari." -- Priceless

Not the first and won't be the last :nono

You would think if you can afford an Enzo or Mercedes-McLaren you'd be able to afford the track. :nixweiss

Just last week I was taking a ride up to the mall from school through the backroads and was behind a Mercedes-McLaren SLR for a couple blocks. You definately don't see super cars like that in my area everyday. I was

Saw that on the news this morning. All they said was that it was a Ferrari. There were a few guys up close looking at the wreckage.

I guess if your going to wreck an Enzo, 120 mph is easier to swallow. I wonder if the Mclaren was in front?? Thats a pretty straight road at Decker, no curves headed south for several miles, and about 1.5 miles farther north, she starts to bend alittle.....been up and down that area of PCH 1.5 million times.....lol

And Ive never seen a Enzo in site, however I did see a Carerra GT yesterday in my lil ol town.......

After reading that article, it sounds like the boogie man defense plan?!

Oh well, do you think the guys rates will go up?

Saw it this moring on the news too..they also said that there are only 400 of those in the states and that when something like this happens the remaining cars value's go up $100k..is that true??

Yep, I saw that on the news this morning too.

At least the poor guy wasn't killed.

Remember Dennis Barnhart of Eagle Computer?

Crashed his Ferrari and killed himself on the day of his company's IPO - may God rest his soul. But a Valley legend was born.

Well, you can't buy common sense and people who are successful in one area often think they're automatically gonna be competent in some other, unrelated, area (like car control). That's why they call 'em "doctor killers".

I could I have sworn I read in C&D when it first came out that there were only 390 made worldwide and that the states only got 90 or something like that.

Holy crap I was just on decker canyon and PCH in Malibu 2 days ago! (day before this) Except I drive a BMW and I was with 10 other BMW owners :-p .

If you frequent that area on PCH, watch your speed for the next few weeks as incidents such as this will always bring about more enforcement for a while.

Man, I tell you. :wall

So, how many Enzo left in this world now? 399? Thanks to Mr.Eriksson :sosad

Then it wouldn't be as much fun.

At least they got their money's worth, fast and safe. Survived a crash at 120MPH, like to see a volvo do that.

Yeah, it *does* just get weirder and weirder! Me thinks Mr. Eriksson might not be living in that gated estate too much longer :chuckle:
