Such a beautiful car yet they just cant seem to get the polishing down right! My daily driven black, soft paint honda has less imperfections!

That car probably gets touched and leaned on 1000 times a day. LOL

Unfortunately, Ferrari can't use that as an excuse. That's the new 599XX just released in Geneva...it's thoroughly roped off!!

Sick car, not so sick prep work!

I've just started working for Ferrari here in Hungary and I still haven't gotten over the poor condition that they're in when they arrive to the dealerships... have a look at my recent posts... Not only that, but some of the body panels look like they've been put together by a cross-eyed spider monkey...

I went to the NAIAS here in Detriot last year and I couldn't believe it either. Jay leno's car's were by far the worst offenders of bad detailing. Someone should write him and tell him to get a new detailer LOL.

I don't get that...at the autoshow to cars are horrible! If your trying to sell a car, dont you want it to be clean and scratch free. especially a ferrari!

Honestly though, besides the autopian detailer, which is a huge minority, who really notices?

You are correct. I always comment on the condition of cars when I am out with my wife, and she doesn't see what I see until I point it out...and that doesn't even phase her, whereas I think it might look horrible.

Yeah, think about how many customers you get that tell you "It's not bad" and when you get it it's swirled beyond imagination. Most people take their car through the tunnel wash, pay $2 extra for "wax" and think the car looks perfect when it comes out the other side. LOL
