Thanks! Yeah, I think it looks great, also... just a PITA to keep the interior clean though.

Jesse, excellent work and great write up.

That car looked like it was at a construction site with all that white powder under it and inside it....:faint:

Fantastic job.

Josh

Thanks Josh! Yeah, I don't know what the heck they do with these cars man... this one's got less than 4,000km on it and it already looks like that...:faint:

wowowow. amazing. very inspiring and awesome attention to detail. beautiful work. hope the folks at the dealership take note on how they're SUPPOSED to look

Thank you very kindly Mutt! I guess I did learn something by buffing all those floors in the Army! :D

Thanks Lexus! No worries, buddy! I lived in the Springs for about 6 years. We used to take our gallon jugs up to Ft. Collins every other weekend to stock up on Easy Street Wheat... I love that beer... mmmm, I said "beer".

Jesse, Great work as always....

You would think with the way the painting process and QC is done with the 599, they should all be "perfect." But what I have seen on the few I have polished, that is not the case.

Here is a link to the video of the making of the 599:

Video: Ferrari factory tour and the birth of the 599 - MotorAuthority - Car news, reviews, spy shots

The show is on Nat Geo here in the states and I do have it on my HD DVR.

Thanks man, I appreciate the comment! Yeah, I've watched that video... just breaks my heart and fills my wallet to see them coming out like that  :D. The owner of the dealership told me that the boys in other parts of Europe send tons of them back to the factory... you'd think that heads would be rolling for something like that, but obviously not.

No lift Jesse, now that is some bulls**t you need to set them straight!!:grinno: Awesome correction as always, of course I am jealous as I will not see my "California" for over a month of course I mean working on it(lol). Like the 430(white) in the background with the challenge grill painted to match very different and unique.

Don't worry Bob, I've already filed a complaint with management :D! Thanks for the comments buddy and I can't wait to see yours! What color is it??

Awesome job on that sexy car. Seems the guys over at Ferrari were in a bit of a hurry to get this one done after pointing out the flaws. Once again great job! :xyxthumbs

Cheers Hemin8r! Well they did tell me that this particular car was a pre-release model, but still...

outstanding work. Perfecto!

I think they guys at the factory have a phobia about painting a Ferrari any color but red. It seems to throw them off, like ordering french fries without salt at McDonalds. ;)

Thanka ju very macha! Yeah, I think it must be like the Y2K thing with them... they just didn't calculate for change :rofl

Jesse, thanks for the write up. The work is impeccable and the photo shots are fantastic. I love that car. I have recently found myself enjoying the front engine Ferrari"s more and more. Last years Pebble Beach unveiled the car and it is stunning. Although red is my favorite that blue is super cool. Great work as always and it is nice to see the real Apollo at it again.

Thanks Jimmie! I like the combo, too. It's a nice change from the red.

Always great to see and read your work Jesse.....BTW where are the Dino's?

Thanks Zoom! I had a look at the Dino last week with the owner, but he wants to hold off on it for a while. I think he wants to get reimbursed from Ferrari for all the work I've been doing lately before I do that one.
