Ferrari 456 with walkthrough included!

Here is a walkthrough on a Beautiful Ferrari that I detailed today. I am doing these walkthroughs for my website when I get it up. I will have a walkthrough listed with the package.



Here it is:

I started by washing with a genuine sheepskin wash mitt using the 2 bucket method:

The wheels were cleaned with P21s wheel gel:

Next was the clay:

I washed the car again and dried it with waffle weave micro fiber:

Added a coat of Zaino Z2

Topped it off with a coat of P21s:

Finished off the paint with Zaino Z8

303 for parts of the interior. Usually I clean and condition the leather but not today:

The paint was in good condition so there was no polishing necessary. I hope you guys enjoy!!!

How much time invested in this?

Good sales point too.
 
Actually not that much time was invested in this particular job. I only had around 4-5 hours in this one. This is a friend of mines car and I detailed it for the pictures. He was on his way out of town so I put a rush on things. I could have spent a little more time claying but not too much more. Just on all the little things I could have spent a little more time but since I was in a rush, I made it quick.

I have read a little bit on the grit guard but was not sure that they made it for the size bucket I use. I need smaller buckets so the will fit in my S2000. Yes I detail out of an S2000. haha.

I think you hold the record for smallest work vehicle!

I had one...small trunk!

I remember the day that it took me 2 hours to find the fuel door release....

LOL!
 
haha yes that is a tricky one! When I bought my last S2000, on the way home from picking it up, I had to call the previous owner and ask where the fuel release was. haha.
 
Beautiful car, without a doubt one of the great used car bargains of our time. I recently saw one in excellent condition for sale at $75,000



The one in the pics is a six speed whhich is rare, most 456 models were automatics

How did you like that gel wheel cleaner? Fairly aggressive or no?
 
Well, that was my first time using the gel. The wheels were fairly clean already so I cant say how good it actually worked or how aggressive it is. From what I read though, it is not overly aggressive. If your really interested, send me a message in about a month or so and I will explain a little better. hehe.
 
hahahah I know. When I got to the bottom part of the tire touching the ground, I could barely get my applicator to touch the tire. haha. The rears are 305/25/20!

The Grit Guards fit in a 3 gallon bucket, also, which is the same diameter as a 5 gallon, but shorter.
