Febreze

I just picked up some Febreze and noticed they had some for cars too. Just wondering if there’s any difference between the two, is the auto stuff actually any better for cars, is it scented differently or is it the same thing in a different bottle?

I've been tempted to try that one. My hope is that it isn't as soapy smelling as the normal one. Febreze is an awesome product and I've always got it with me on a job. My problem is that it has such a detergent-ish fragrance to it that it is sometimes not the most pleasant in a car. I have to do an odor removal treatment to remove the scent from my odor removal. lol

I've never used Fabreze in a vehicle. I have two other odor removal products I carry.

I will agree that Fabreze does work very well.

I've also read that Fabreze will cause a haze on the windows. Don't know if it is true so if anyone ever tries any try to confirm this for us.

I have the auto febreeze the scent is different, doesn't seem to stick to much. I like it for the headliner and any places I can't vacuum.

I spilled some motor oil *cringe* in my trunk, after i cleaned it up it still smelt funny a couple of days later was wandering aimlessly around wal-mart and saw some "NEW" auto febreez and picked it up figuring what-the-heck. Got home, sprayed the WHOLE car with it and left it over night with the windows rolled down in the morning the car smelt great! Most of the febreeze smell had left and it just smelt...clean.

I use the auto version myself, nice smell, not overwhelming or over perfumey....Never had a haze problem...nice touch..

I used to use Febreze, but switched to something called Oust. It's much faster, better, and effective. I rented a cabin in the Smokey Mountains last year. I walked in and the place reaked like fish. I hit it with a 10 second blast of Oust and we never smelled anything in that cabin for the next 4 days.

I've used it in my truck to get rid of the "new car fragrance" that the dealer sprayed in it after some service work. It stunk like baby powder. A couple second blast and the smell was gone. :D

Oust also comes in fragrance and also a non fragrance version, so there's no tell tale odor left over. Good Stuff Maynard. :D

Good stuff. Used it to clean the smell of marijuana out of my apartment with my former college roommate. :lol

Sir, you are under arrest for possesion and consumption of controlled substance abuse. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say may and will be used as evidence against you. If you cannot afford hiring a detailer then these folks will help you... Naahhh I mixed up again... :grinno:

Well I do not even know the smell of that stuff but from what I usually hear it smells real sharp and clings everywhere. If that is removed, then the product is worth a try...
