Ive broken two EZ detail brushes. Wonder how much strong the daytona is?

I broke another one the other day also. I was still able to fix it, hopefully more permanent. :D

My grandpa gave me one that is exactly like the sm arnold one and it's been going strong since 1976 apparently haha

Wheel face would be the Swissvax wheel brush. I have a SM Arnold wheel face brush with blond hairs and just prefer the thickness of the SV brush.

Wheel barrel brush would be the Raceglaze brush. I have had the SM Arnold version, the Meguiars wheel spoke brush and I am not fond of all the sling back from them. the Raceglaze brush has hardly any sling and can get behind some of the tightest calipers.

yeah i read several reviews of broken ez-detail brushes, i asked about the daytona in hopes of it being more durable?

I probably would have bought the raceglaze brush by now if it didnt have to be shipped from canada :hmph:

I have had great experience with the Daytona brush, had it at least two years. I haven't used the small one EZ-detail much so can't comment on it. I did buy a simular one to it at Auto Zone I believe and it broke after about 6 uses.

I would give the Daytona a try!

I use um... Autozone brushes.

They are pretty soft and work great IMO. I could stand to upgrade to a better brush between the spokes though. The AZ spoke brush is good, but I'd prefer something a wee bit softer.

I have to say that I love my EZ detail brush. I am pretty harsh with it, and it is still going strong after 2 years. I would definitely buy another one.

Especially since they were .99 cents on clearance :getdown

Swissvax for the wheel face and EZ for the barrels. That being said, my EZ-Detail brush is on it's last leg and when it finally goes I'm going to buy the RaceGlaze.

OK, where can one buy the RaceGlaze Brushes from?? (Yes, I am THAT lazy to do an internet search)

Never mind, I see Renny @ PakShak has them.

I have a daytona had it for about a year now!used it on wheels and wheel wells its good for alot of things, mine seems to be holding up well ive done 40+ wheel barrells and wheel wells with it!

Daytona wheel brush is much, much better than the regular EZ IMO

I'm failing to see the difference? It's a different name brand, licensed by EZ Detail brush's mfg.

What makes it superior? It just looks a bit bigger.

Supposedly the flexible neck is stronger, less likely to snap.
