Favorite tire dressing and tire brush

I have been buying stuff for the last couple of days but forgot about my freakin' tires. lol. I have a range rover and really like tire dressing that makes the tires look new and natural. Not really into shiny tires. The guy that was detailing my car before used a great dressing but I couldnt get him to tell me what it was. He would put it on the tires and smooth it out with some type of soft bristle brush. Can you guys recommend a great long lasting tire dressing and what type of brush I should have to apply? Thanks

I have been on a water based dressing kick lately. I have been using:

Poorboys B and B
Zaino Z16
Car Pro PERL

I have been applying with a grout sponge.

I agree with DC here opti-bond tire gel is great and I use those brushes as well with the gel and never had and issue.

OP meant a tire brush to apply tire gel/dressings.

With that said, I love Tuf Shines tire brush for cleaning tires. :D

I love Poorboys Bold N Brite or Megs Hyper Dressing if I'm going for lower gloss. Both can be diluted to suit the users preference. For extreme, over the top gloss I use Blackfire gel.

I have like half a gallon of PB BnB spray and it looks great. Kinda wish I had gotten the gel though for longer lasting results.

PERL
Opti bond
Ultima Tire and trim

Brush i use mothers tire brush
TUF shine tire brush
sometimes my GG 3 inch with a yellow sponge pad

I've also been using only water based products on my DDs. Without taking this thread sideways, I don't believe water based will last more than 2-4 weeks but it's good enough for me. They last from wash to wash (as long as it's not raining). If I want to freshen the look in between washes, I will wipe the tire with ONR at a QD dilution.

I've been using and had good results with:
Opti Bond
CG Silk Shine
CG G6
Vinylex

BLACKFIRE Total Eclipse Tire Gel for sure.
I also really like Poorboy's Natural Look
Optimum Opti-Bond
and TUFF SHINE Tire Clearcoat.

Favorite applictor would be TUFF SHINE's.

Love me some PERL! Also like Adams VRT for tires. Not sure which one I'm like liking the most though, that's kind of tough. I have been using Adams Tire applicator but I want to try out a different one. It's entirely too big.

Tuff Shine Tire Clear Coat and the Carrand Applicator Brush. If you use the Carrand Brush you can get it 100% clean, no slimy foam applicators laying about.

alright, so this weekend I applied the Optimum Opti-Bond Tire Gel to my tires with the Carrand Tire Brush. Optimum was a bit too glossy for my taste. I didnt realize it would be glossy until I read the freakin label after applying and it stated "High Gloss". Should I have used the foam applicator that it requested on label to take down some of the shine or is it just a glossy product? I was hoping for a more dark black matte finish. Which product would give me that look? That NEW tire look.
