Favorite QDs?

In no particular order, I use FK425, Aquawax, Surf City Speed Demon, Surf City Hot Rod Detailer, Duragloss 921 FC&S. I've not tried the other brands mentioned but I'm sure they're winners too. I bought a gallon of the Chemical Guys Extreme Slick Synthetic as my first QD. Once I tried AW and FK425, I gave the gallon to a friend. Not impressed.

Unfortunately it ends up more than double that with shipping :(
 
Yeah, shipping jack the price way up and their site wont take my credit card. I was going to get Total/protect as well and with shipping it would be $38.



The dirt road is about .5 mile. I drive as slow as I have to. Often less than idle speed. On the bike ive even pushed it during rainstorms. Ever tried cleaning mud out of a sportbike? I absolutely hate dirt "roads", id pave the damn thing myself if I had the cash.
 
My fav is CK Quikshine, high price is a turnoff*

FK425- in it's own class.

Meg's #34 Final Inspection, I can buy gallon sizes here locally at a very competitive price, so lately it is all I use. Does a decent job.:cool1:
 
I use No Rinse qd strength in a 1/2 gallon hand held garden sprayer with a little (2oz) Dura Gloss aqua wax or Eagle wax nano wax spray in the mix. The No Rinse cost is about $1 for four ounces and the wax is about 50 cents. $1.50 for a half gallon.
 
Went to the Nethercutt Museum last Friday. The museum is the home of appx. 70 cars many of which are worth more than one million dollars. There are also a number of Pebble beach concourse winners in the lot. Guess what QD they use for the entire collection. MEGS Ultimate quick detailer and #26 wax. By far my favorite QD but I don't use it all the time because of cost.
