Favorite PS2 games (or PS3)

My husband is always right!
Okay, I know this is totally off the subject (hence why I am posting in the Off Topic Forum;) ) Anyway..I have a hobby ( some would say obsession). I love playing PS2-Particulary The "Splinter Cell" Series. Has anyone else played them? If so, which is your favorite?

Just curious, because I just got a new one (for me) and am in the middle of it. It's a blast!:10:

I like first person shooter games, but my favorites are racing games. Gran Turismo 4 is insanely accurate and is a blast to play. If you like a little more flash and fun that sacrifices accuracy, Need for Speed; Most Wanted is fun. You also can't go wrong with NCAA Football '07. Go ND!!!

By far the best one for me is Crash Bandicoot, by Naughty Dog!....I have all of them for PS2 and have mastered 3 to the end levels without the cheat codes....of course that took me 3 years!

I have wasted many hours mastering Ratchet and Clank (which we got for the kids). Not much time for that anymore. :(

GranTurismo 4 was a must have when it came out. I wasn't waiting in line for it or anything, but I love those games and it was the reason I bought a PS2 to begin with. I'm really not much of a gamer though. I've always kept pretty busy with other things, and once my son was born any free time I had was shot down. I do enjoy a nice romp through GTA: Vice City when I've had a rough day at work though. San Andreas went a little to far with the vulgarity and the story line, but I like the soundtrack on Vice City and the fact I can ride a motorcycle around. I don't go on killing sprees very often, but it is fun to see how long you can outrun the cops when you attract their attention. ;) Hey, it's cheaper than therapy.

I love the Grand Theft Auto series. Need For Speed games are pretty fun, Fight Night Round 3 (played on PS2 but own it on XBox), Gran Turismo 3 and 4, and other racing games. My friend also got me kinda hooked on Madden, even though I'm not a football person. My "pick up" game tends to be Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. The cheats are fun :D. OH YES, and I can never forget, Metal Gear Solid series on both PS1 and PS2 :excited:. We should also name our favorite PS1 games! Gran Turismo 2 was also my absolute favorite, Crash Bandicoot: Warped, and the Tony Hawk Pro Skater games. Resident Evil as well is my favorite series for PS1 and PS2. There's more, but I can't remember.

The last console I owned was a Sega Genesis. :)

I told the wifey that I wanted a new Nintendo Wii and she said that I should be spending my time selling wax and not playing games. :D So much for being my own boss...

Poor Scott...I want a Wii as well. I got hooked on Trauma Center at my cousin's house. Wario Ware is really fun too, as long as you play with someone :D

HUGE fan of Splinter Cell I have them all (except for double agent really want to get it dont have any time to play it anymore) I have them for Xbox though. My favorite so far has been Chaos Theory.

I played Double Agent. It's fun..I have issues with the story line, but it is fun. My favorite is Chaos Theory too!

My favorites are also first person shooter games. I love SOCOM US Navy Seals 1,2,and 3. I played all three and have almost beat Navy Seals 3 (I am on the last missionas a commander). I really love playing 2 and 3 online with a team you can really kick some butt.

I traded an old laptop for a Wii back in October or November. I tell ya, that thing is the wave of the future. Just you wait.. The PS4 is going to have gyros in the controlers too I'll bet. That thing is a blast to play. Not only is it fun on the more adult games, my 3 year old absolutely loves the sports game that it came with. How many 3 year olds are familiar with the game of Golf and Bowling and Tennis? My son golfs better than I do most of the time and has even bowled a 209. If you have the means, I highly suggest finding a Wii. They are easier to get now and they are incredibly educational.

Guitar Hero FTW! :yay

Also blowing credits on GT4 :notme:

Jngrbrdman: After watching videos of the dance part on Wario Ware, the Wii looks like a fun system. Nintendo is really coming around now, after the GC kinda flopped. They really have revolutionized the console gaming industry, first with of course the Nintendo, then the N64, and now with the Wii.

Wii is the revolution. I also love GUITAR HERO 1 AND 2 :D. PS4 will have more than gyros. It will also have a vent where u can smell scents in the game, and there will be a helmet where you can feel the pain from the game. It would suck playing Resident Evil with that :lmfao
