Favorite OTC Spray Wax

I asked my local NAPA to order it and they looked through their catalog and couldn't find AW. They even let me take a look and they had several DG products, but not AW. This was maybe last year or the year before. Haven't had a need for more so that may have changed.
Now that I think of it I have bought 105, 601 and DG carwash at NAPA but maybe never bought AW there. Have you tried CarQuest--they stock some DG products and may also be able to order it for you.

You can also get it here https://www.autoality.com/store/pc/home.asp with free shipping for orders over $50

I haven't tried CQ, but thanks for that. And I agree on Autoality. Great service, pricing and only 2 days shipping to NC! Props to Eric@Autoality.

I have and really like Aquawax, but picked up a buy one get one free Pinnacle Souveran Liquid Spray Wax and have not had a chance to use it since Christmas because of the weather here in Nova Scotia, so to someone who has tried it, how does it compare to the other spray waxes.

Baker,

You might get a chance tomorrow its supposed to warm up, I just hope the rain ends so I can get a good wax and detail in tomorrow afternoon. I haven't used Pinnacle products, but the guys on Autogeek's forum seem to like it a lot.

I know some have even had issues with FK425, and/but since I've been lucky enough to avoid trouble with that stuff it's still one of my go-tos (though I don't use it on waxes any more).

Are there compatibility issues on wax?

I wouldn't go so far as to generalize with a "yes", but it can happen. I've had it happen just once, and that was under unusual circumstances. But it was enough of an issue that I now stick with other stuff (e.g., Griot's SpeedShine) for use on waxes.

I used ONR mixed as a QD. I tried waxing with Max Wax afterwards and oh my, stuck to the paint like glue!

So yes, anything can happen.

I really like the usability of AW, and I've used it both while the car was wet and after drying the car (which I like better so I don't get wax in my waffle weaves) and it was flawless both times. I do think OCW looks slightly better as far as gloss goes and I've heard its durability is better, but for the consistency and ease I really love AW. I've bought it at Carquest (which is tough since Carquest isn't real big in MN) but my friend that works at Napa will get it for me as well, same deal that they order it and get it the next day.
