Favorite glass cleaner?

Zep Glass Cleaner for me. For the money it can't be beat.

Thanks to a recommendation from my main man...Big Al:2thumbs:

SIG, is pretty good but Have found Meguiar's NXT glass cleaner to be a little better,

cleans just as good as SIG, plus has polymer protection.

I used to use SIG exclusively, now I've switched to Sprayway. Half the cost, cleans just as well, if not better.

A quick google yields something like 3.50 a can on the internet for Sprayaway. That's more than what I pay for IG right from Stoner when I buy a case.

I dont think Ive posted in here yet. I see so many of these glass cleaner threads I forget.

Megs D-line cleaner and a glass towel from ADS for me. :)

It's about $2 at Wally world.

Sprayaway is about 1/2 that price @ Sam's Club

Locally, my Walmart sells it for 1.97 a can, though.

HiHi

Personally its two things, for regular maintence its got to be Clearly Better Glass Cleaner from Surf City Garage.

I find little cracks on the windscreen can hold on to all sorts of gunk that comes out on the screen and makes a mess. For that quartly cleaning with a machine polisher and a cream type product such as Autoglym Glass polish works wonders!

I've been using Hope's Perfect Glass - 32 oz, 4.99 at Bed, Bath & Beyond. Nice look & easy to use.

A neat window trick I learned from a local detailer is to take a somewhat rough microfiber, rinse in water then squeeze it out. Then spray glass cleaner onto one side of it. This makes a water/glass cleaner solution that will last over a whole car or you can use more cleaner as needed. Then take a softer shop towel to do the drying. Works great and uses less product!

Ive heard that. I think I heard that mothers chrome polish works great.

I agree... Mothers Chrome Polish is excellent for deep cleaning of the windows, including water spotting! :2thumbs:

For regular cleaning, Hopes Perfect Glass and a WW towel followed up with a suede MF towel works great.

I read about Zep concentrate glass cleaner available at Home Depot for $10.00 a gallon. Bought some and I'm not regretting it one bit. One gallon makes 32 gallons of cleaner. Make sure you buy the one that's safe for tinted windows and only mix it with distilled water.

I picked some up yesterday. With the mix of 1oz. of product to 32 oz. of water, I won't run out any time soon!

You're going to love this product. I've used it in direct sunlight with no streaking. I use a mf towel to wipe it with. Some windows may need going over twice but this stuff is great! And yeah I won't need to buy any for a really long time either!
