Favorite Claybar?

I miss my Erazer clay! Nothing like Elasticly Clay that doesn't grain up and can be molded amazingly well.

I've treid Claymagic/Mothers/Opticlay and Opticlay was easier to knead then the other to and worked great. Since Opticlay is no longer availaable Claymagic would be my next choice.

clay magic is the only clay i have used, im not dissapointed with it at all.

Thanks to this thread, I decided to try the Clay Magic Blue bar on my 04 Spec V, and I must say, I am very impressed. I bought the car used from a friend that works at a stealership, and it had some kind of overspray just on the passenger side front door. I started rubbing, and that overspray came right off and the paint felt like a baby's ***. I was so impressed, I had done the entire car before I even knew it!!!



Now if I could just get these swirl marks out. Black paint sucks.....

Used Clay Magic mostly, but have used others as well. Have not really noticed a huge difference between them.

I've only used Meguiar's clay. But that bar is being demoted to only wheels and a new bar whatever bar I decide to buy is going to be for paint. Im really thinking about the CM now.

I've only used Clay Magic and Meguiar's now, but I like Meguiar's better, though it does seem a little bit rougher and easier to mar the paint with though.

Maybe if you mix it with sand. I agree, it is a mild clay for sure.

I find myself reaching for the Meguiar's AGGRESSIVE more often then not. I typically do at least 1 step of polish (minimum of D151 or Poli-seal) so any possible clay marring is a non-issue.



I've used Clay Magic, Zaino yellow clay, and Mothers...no "huge" difference really anywhere.
