Farnam Company Rejuvenating Oil

Has anyone had experience with this rejuvenating oil?

I recently tried a decent amount of Leatherique rejuvenating oil (and then Prestine Clean) on my driver's seat to try and soften the leather which has become cardboard hard, and I had very good results so far.

Since I borrowed the Leatherique from my friend, I figured instead of buying the Leatherique product, I am wondering if there are alternatives?

I found Farnam brand rejuvenating oil for around $17 for 16 oz shipped (compared to $30 for Leatherique, plus shipping).

Thanks everyone!:bigups

Farnam is made for saddles so should never be used on finished leather - bit like leatherique which is not for coated leathers either.

Thanks for the heads up!

I just read the specs and found this bit: "Do not use on suede, leather furniture or leather clothing." I think seats fit into the leather furniture and clothing category.

Ended up buying 8oz of Leatherique Rejuvenating Oil and 8oz of Prestine Clean. There is a guy selling a set of both for $29.99 on eBay, shipped. Damn good deal!
