I just picked up a 2003 Cadillac Escalade, only 37k on the clock, White Diamond in color. First off let me be the first to say that this is one of the easiest colors I have ever worked with. I have done white diamond cars for people in the past, and found them easy to do so this was partially the reason I looked speciffically for it.

If you've worked on this color (or similar) before, are there any tips or suggstions to make it really pop? I've been waxing with Collinite 915 regularly but I'm looking to brighten it up and show off that pearl! Let me know and post pics if you have them!

Sealants tend to do better with white diamond because they don't mute the flake like a carnauba does.

Meguiar's M21 is the only one I've used in this case and it looks great on white diamond.

By the way, I'm a big fan of that color myself. I worked on so many Cadillacs in the early 90s through 2000 with white diamond, pearl red, and crimson pearl tri-coats and I enjoy the look.

White diamond with neutral leather was Cadillac's most popular combination for most of that decade.

I find that Pinnacle XMT Finishing Glaze along with Pinnacle Signature Series II look great on my wife's CTS. The Signature Series does not mute the flakes on white diamond.

I know this is kinda late to get back on this topic, but I figured I would ask anyway. You mentioned the opti-seal working wonders on white diamond. I'm willing to give it a shot. My biggest thing is I like to keep a coat of Collonite on it for protection. Can I do both? If so, which one first? Let me know and thanks for the info.

o.k. now i can speak about something that i know! i have a white diamond CTS. i use IW845 on it and it POPS! very easy to keep it looking slick! two layers 10-12 hours apart. sorry,:bawling: no pics for ya.

Put on a couple coats of Opti-Seal about 20-30 minutes apart. That ought to give it more than enough protection. Howdver, you can apply Collinite over OS if you wish.
