Falling apart Lake Country pads

I have used my 2 sets of Lake country pads only a few times and they are already starting to fall apart. The 'cutting' pads have been used maybe 4 to 5 times at best :down.

I wash them with dawn right after use. This is what they look like:

Sorry for the dark picture (with flash its too bright). It seems that the velcro on the back is coming off, the pads are cracking and the foam is deteriorating.

Has anyone had a similar experience? Have you contacted Lake Country (<-- couldn't find manufacturer website)?

I was orginially going to get Propel pads but since they are based in the US, shipping and duties would have killed me.

Someone had this issue not too long ago with the 6.5" pads, just contact the retailer and they should replace them no problem.

Just a little feedback here, please dont consider this insinuative either.

"Pads are not indestructible. I know the orange are a little stiffer then their remaining, line and may require additional working pressure to flatten out, but there is only so much they can accomplish and one should not expect rotary results with an orbital. Also make dang sure the backing plate does not come near the edge of the backing on any pad. All it takes is a little offset to destroy the pad."

Im sure Eric, or your distributor will make arrangements for you, regarding your situation, and their service policies.

Thanks for the replies guys.

I contacted lake country about the problem and they were very helpful. After talking to Chris from eshine.ca they have sent me replacements.

Couldn't be happier with eshine.ca and lake country, they know how to take care of customers. /end commercial.
