Fake Chrome

Hi guys. Is the fake chrome grille on my Nitro considered "brightwork". I did a search and could not get a conclusion to it being brightwork.

Will Megs Plastic X clean and polish this fake chrome material without damaging it?

Thanks for all yor help again.

It is by *my* definition, but technically, I think brightwork refers to metals only, such as chrome, SS, polished aluminum, etc. I agree with the poster above--try a small test spot. If it's anything like the chromed plastic on my truck, it scratches very easily.

Having wrecked that stuff numerous times over the years I've learned the hard way to be *VERY* gentle with it. I usually don't use anything harsher than VM on it and usually just use the Klasse twins. More aggressive measures work fine...right up until they damage it.
