The rear shelf (you know, behind the back seat) in my 8 year old BMW is faded/discolored. The interior is black leather and I'm sure the rear shelf used to be black, but after years of sun exposure it looks more like blue.
I suppose I could replace it, but I'm sure it's an expensive item. Has anyone had any experience with this? Is there some kind of dye that could be applied that would return this item to it's former beauty?
It has sort of a cloth texture not unlike the headliner.
P.S. Ordered my PC today and lots of pads and stuff from CMA. This site is addicting....and expensive!!
