Face Lift vs. '92 Camry

For this Camry, I was feeling pretty shaky about it at first. Looks pretty ragged when it rolled in.

Interior came first. I used a combination of products, to get rid of the smell, and get them new.

Processes were:

-Vaccuum

-Scrub with Sear's Commercial Stain Remover (EXCELLENT STUFF!)

-Steam clean to kill bacteria (Boys night out, don't ask)

-Vacuum again

I then dressed the interior, hoping to get rid of the scuff marks, which were greatly reduced.

I use simple armor all to dress the interior of this badboy.

Where he had done a really bad job wiping up the vomit.

Drivers side ugliness.

The shifter:

The thing that shocked me, was he living out of his trunk?

Exterior:

PC on 6 with some Mega #82. He wasn't paying me for a exterior, but I couldn't resist. The paint had some clear coat failure, and lots of dents and paint peeling. Don't blame me for it looking bad. ;) :p

I topped it off with some AIO

After a pass with #82 with the PC on 6, with a cutting pad.

Looks a hell of a lot better, but it definatly could have come out better if he would have been paying me to do the exterior

;)

Thanks for reading and looking everyone!

That's just plain wrong :scared: I can see why you pityed him enough to do a free exterior clean-up!

Look what I found in the trunk...

But hey, what can I say, he's a college student, studying two different fields. I can't blame him for not having the time to clean up. :o

I hope you had some elbow length rubber gloves to clean that trunk out. Yikes :shocked

Good thing it's still pretty cold up there. That car would have been ripe were it warmer. Good work and good deed.

So why the #83 with the PC but no tire dressing? It's obvious that without a concerted effort those swirls weren't going anywhere.

Maybe he'll pony up for the full exterior when the warm weather hits.

Nice cleanup on the interior :up (Just get those crevices around the shifter ;) )

That #82 shows you how little cut it has. But at least you go to play around with the PC. Wait until you get your Poorboys SSRs :xyxthumbs

They after, I noticed in the pictures, and went back and cleaned 'em. :)

Thanks again everyone.

I don't know how anyone can let their car's trunk look like that.

I valeted a party one time and the driver have the passenger side floor stacked soooo high with garbage no one could even sit there.

soo saddd

Last year, I parked next to a car at The Bell with the entire passenger side floorboard filled with empty Dr. Pepper cans. When I say "entire," I mean that the cans were level with the top of the seat cushion. Oddly enough, the rest of the car was fairly normal (maybe a map or book in the backseat).

No, I didn't have my camera:mad: at the time.

It's never good when you are cleaning vomit out of the floorboards. Was that green tree supposed to eradicate the smell in the car. I'll wager it wasn't too successful. Nice turnaround on the carpet.

The finger was for the owner.

Nah, what am I saying. My son is 15 and he likes detailing as much as I do. I should able to trust that I won't see pizza and garbage stacked up to the ceiling.

But you have to admit, that was a frightening image. And it sorta shames us Camry owners...

You are a very brave and dedicated young man with, apparently, a very strong stomach. I nearly heaved just looking at the pictures of the driver's side interior and that trunk just aboout completed the process. You are also a very generous person to have done something with that exterior without being asked. I think you should be given an award for charitalbe contributions to dumb (and apparently, disgusting) carowners.

:D Haha, that made me laugh. I agree, the guy is really nice and cool, but he needs to learn how to take care of his car.

He dropped by with a buddy of his and said that I'll be having plenty of business from their club.

Nice job, but u need to step up on the outside. you didnt put an agressive enough products, also always hit ur wheels wells.
