Fabric UV protection

Any recommendations for treating fabric car seats and door panels for UV protection?

I've never used the stuff, but I think 303 makes a fabric protectant.

They absolutely do and IMO it's very good. I can't really speak to it's abilities to protect against fading. However, it does an excellent job as a stain guard. Water actually beads on my floor matts after a couple of 303 Fabric Guard applications.

If you have a non-convertible and rarely open the windows, UV will not be a factor for you. Auto glass these days block at least 97% of UV. Laminated windshields block 99%+ of UV.

Regardless, I still use protectants. 303 is pretty good, and I've started using Optimum Protectant Plus lately. Unfortunately, the OPP smells pretty... "stale" I guess is the only way to describe it. But ehh, whatever.

Fabric wise, I guess scotchguard or 303 high tech fabric guard. I think only the latter has UV protectants.

Anyway, though, getting some tint and a shade for the windshield will help significantly cut out the heat. But again, UV doesn't matter in modern cars.
