F/S Natural Sea Sponges for washing your car

Any more left?

you have a PM

How you would compare them to the softest / nicest mitt you ever worked with?

no comparisonthese things just keep getting softer and they are pretty soft to begin with HTH

Got them! :xyxthumbs Thank you very much! Perfect transaction - recommended seller.

Two good things about them:

1) They're from Florida, not the Bahamas - better quality

2) They're natural and not bleached - softer feel

I have them soaking. I noticed no sand or shells. They feel nice and soft and should make for a great wash tool.

If I had to knock them :hide: , I'd say they're a tad small and a bit more fragile compared to the ones I have from CMA, TOL and AutoGeek. But for $8 a piece with shipping, they are fantastic and a great buy. A cheap way to expose yourself to washing with sponges.

ZoranC, I would say they are soft as sheepskin when wet and soapy, but not as large. They don't cover as much surface area because of their peculiar shape. It takes a bit longer to wash with one. They make for an excellent "nooks and crannies" wash tool since you can squash them to fit anywhere. They rinse free and clear in your rinse bucket.

I just ordered 2. I'm looking forward to trying this out.

How do you guys clean it after you use it? Just rinse/repeat with clean water until you see no more dirt or particles?

I have never washed with sheepskin, just with chenille, so I guess I will have to try.

Thanks, got mine a ways back. I rinsed them and they had no sand or shells. Very absorbent and high quality. Maybe a little small, but what a great price :bigups .

Just found out that my local paint store carries these sponges and can special me order the giant 12" sponge! May give it whirl.

What they quoted you for 12" one? Which store said they can do it? Thank you in advance!

I got mine today! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Not only they are great price (I doubt one can get them much cheaper, especially when cost of packaging, handling, and shipping is included) but "customer service" was also phenomenal, esppecially when one knows this is not a "high ticket" item.

One day I might try TOL ones if money allows but in the meantime this is heckuva deal.

I checked them out and I think I see why people could love them for car washing. One of them (I got more than one) feels so soft it is incredible. Also, they seem just the right size to me, neither too small nor too big when wet. I can see how I could use foam gun with left hand and wash with sponge in right hand. I have simulated wash by washing my bathroom mirror, with just water nothing else, and softest one is also most convenient as it is flat shaped. Remaining two have typical natural sponge shape. One of them is not as soft as softest one, so I will see will that change with time as they report it does. Still it seemed soft toward surface.

Last one was also most dense one. That one squeaked while washing mirror. I guess that's because surface of that one is very dense which makes me wonder would that one be safe to use on paint. I wonder would cutting it to expose inside reveal softer fibers or I should delegate it for washing windshield/windows?

I got mine today also. Thanks for the awesome deal and the freebies Larry! You rock!

BTW, the packaging was excellent. Not only was my bottle of AIO taped, but tightly saran wrapped!! You must really love saran wrap! :D

that was shrink wrap and yes I shrink wrap everything espicially anything with liquid as the PO will throw it away if any leakage occurs and to keep dirt off the sponges and what-not

I still have a few more left if N E ones is still interested
