i recently acquired a used stainless steel race header. i know i won't be able to get it back to its original sheen, but suggestions on what to use?

any help on how to fix this up to 20% of autopian standards? i just wanna see the silver back.

many thanks.

Personally I'd just send them to Jet-Hot and have them coated. Better thermal efficiency (hotter exhaust gas flows more quickly) and they will look nice.

thanks everyone for your reply. so it seems i'll have to use a grinder and some metal polish compound.

i did use a felt mushroom on my drill with some wenol and that didn't work at all. is there something easier like using some sort of chemical peel?

btw, it's a jackson racing race header.
