Glad to hear you walked away from that accident with minimal bodily injury. I know they don't make them like they did before, but can't argue with the safety of today's cars. Fifth Gear on Speed channel did a head-on crash of the same model vehicle, 10 years apart. The newer vehicle's airbag didn't even deploy, while it was determined that the older vehicle's driver would have sustained serious injuries because of the intrusion into the driver's cabin. I love older cars, but I drive a newer car for my daughter's sake when I transport her.
